Chapter 13 - THE MARRIAGE DIDN’T HEAL ON A COURTROOM SCHEDULEThe legal case moved faster than my heart.

Diane faced consequences for child mistreatment supported by evidence.

Protective restrictions.

Foundation removal.

Civil claims tied to manipulated governance submissions.

No theatrical ruin.

She still had money.

Still owned her home.

Still had friends.

Accountability does not require making someone homeless.

The foundation permanently removed her from its advisory role.

That mattered more to her than money.

But it was governance, not revenge.

Ryan was not charged with every act Diane committed.

Evidence did not support that.

His failures were addressed through family court, therapy requirements, and parenting restrictions initially.

He gradually earned more contact.

Noah wanted him.

That mattered too.

Children can love a parent who failed them.

We do not make children prove loyalty by rejecting love.

At six months, Ryan had unsupervised daytime visits.

At a year, overnight visits began.

Not because I forgave him completely.

Because professionals believed Noah was safe.

Separate issue.
