Sage entered the ballroom with Isabelle’s assistant.
Celia noticed her almost immediately.
Helena approached Celia near the east windows.
Handed her a photograph.
Then said something.
No audio.
Celia nodded.
Minutes later, she approached Sage.
At first, conversation.
Then Celia moved Sage away from the family seating area.
Toward the drinks table.
She pointed toward the servants’ corridor twice.
Sage shook her head.
Then the orange juice.
Deliberate.
Celia lifted the glass.
Paused.
Looked toward Helena.
Then poured it directly over Sage’s head.
Not a spill.
Not an accident.
Several guests laughed.
A few looked uncomfortable.
Nobody intervened before Gideon arrived.
That mattered too.
Celia later claimed she believed Sage was “part of a prank.”
No one believed that after the footage.
She had known the child’s name.
Known Leah’s name.
Known she was connected to Gideon.
Maybe not that DNA had been confirmed.
