Chapter 7 - TREVOR’S REAL PLANTrevor was not merely helping his sister.

He had financial incentive.

He had prepared a contingency agreement.

If litigation around the trust succeeded in producing a settlement, his law firm would receive a substantial fee.

More troubling, he had discussed creating a new family holding company.

He would manage it.

For an annual percentage.

The plan was dressed as “succession restructuring.”

In reality, Trevor hoped to turn family conflict into a long-term revenue stream.

When confronted, he said:

“I was protecting my sister.”

No.

He was monetizing her fear.

Investigators and bar authorities reviewed his conduct.

The legal process took time.
